I've been away for a few days, not because I was in a burn ward for a fireworks injury, but because my internet connection mysteriously stopped working. During the
interregnum I amused myself with such old-fashioned activities such as reading and watching movies, and discovered how often I get the urge to look something up on
Wikipedia or the
Internet Movie Database. I watched
The Music Man, which is a great Fourth of July movie and started reading John Zmirak's
Wilhelm Ropke: Swiss Localist, Global Economist, which makes me look forward to reading the copy of
The Social Crisis of Our Time that I picked up recently.
